A quick way of changing the default file format for Grab.app (or ‘Command + Shift + 4′ short-cut) from .tiff to other formats such as .pdf, .png, or .psd etc.. Choose any of the following line and paste it in your Terminal window and press the return key, that’s it.

defaults write com.apple.screencapture type png
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type pdf
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type tif
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type psd


IMPORTANT: You have to log out immediately in order for this change to take effect!!

Was down in London last Friday for my little sis’s birthday and also did a bit of shopping myself while there (well Sonia was convinced that *was* the main reason why I went all that way down there… ).

We went to a nice Taiwanese-style Chinese restaurant, called Taiwan Village, near her flat in South Kensington (well saying near, it’s in fact in Fulham and about 25 mins walk away), we had some gorgeous dishes there!!

Spent the whole Saturday pratting about both Angel and Sonia’s PCs and as a reward, I was fed with a lovely home-cooked meal – very nice indeed – I’m getting to think I should be going down there more often now.

Went shopping on Sunday and as oblivious to Sonia and I, it took us a while to realise that there was some special organised event going on nearby – that’s why they blocked the whole street, a small hint maybe… At the end, it turned out to be some sort of Spanish festival!!

Later on that evening, Angel joined Sonia and I at this Jazz bar called Quaglino’s Bar and had a few drinks.

We then finished the day off by going to WooJung, a Korean restaurant, where we grabbed something to eat. And this is where Sonia and Angel tried to tell me this supposedly real and very, very scary ghost story – but being a *proper* scientist and all that, I didn’t think it was worth the time – like hell I would want to know while I’m living on my own?! – try harder next time girls!!

Spent the night out in “the Common” bar with mates and here are some photos of the night!!

Was meant to be in the Font Bar, for a *quick* session and guess what, as per usual, it turned out to be a long one… I had to do all my packing in the morning of the day leaving…
